At Folkerts Auction Service we specialize in Estate Auctions, Farm Auctions, Business Liquidations, Equipment Auctions, Real Estate Auctions, and Personal Property Appraisals. Additionally, we do several Charity Auctions each year. No auction is too large or too small for us to handle! 

Because at Folkerts Auction Service we understand that often times the situation leading you to an auction or appraisal is not always the most pleasant one, we strive to meet your needs in the most personal, yet professional way possible.

James Folkerts is President and CEO of Folkerts Auction Service and is licensed by the State of Texas under Texas Auctioneer's License #12447. James was raised going to farm auctions with his dad. In July 1984, he attended Brittan Auction Academy in College Station, TX, earning his Auctioneer’s License and is now living his childhood dream being an Auctioneer.

We are a family owned and operated business, based in Amarillo, Texas but we can and will travel just about anywhere for an auction -don't forget: "Have Gavel - Will Travel"!  Each and every auction we conduct is handled from start to finish by James, his family, and his friends. All additional staff required for a particular auction is hired specifically for the needs of that auction. We feel that this makes our business more personal and insures that we have staff qualified to meet all of your needs in the most professional, trustworthy manner possible.
